Synopsis
Oh Pil Seung is a free-spirited fishmonger in one of the outlaying towns of Korea. He went to Seoul for better prospects and put up at his friend's house. Unknowing to him, his grandmother is the chairman of a conglomerate in Korea, and has been looking for him since the death of her other grandson.
So Pil Seung became the managing director and the heir-apparent to the company, and moved out of his friend's house unwillingly. Because by this time, he has fallen for his friend's sister, Bong Soon-young, who doesn't reciprocate his love yet find him irritating especially while he was working as a mover in the same supermarket with her. Instead, she fell in love with Yoon Jae-woong, the company's Director of Sales.
Knowing that he has limited education and absolutely no knowledge of running a business, Pil Seung's grandmother employed Noh Yoo-jung to be his personal assistant.
Yoo Jung proved herself to be a good guidance to his boss and able to save him on multiple occasions.
Because the supermarket is not profiting, Jae Wong proposed to close it, but was vehemently rejected by Pil Seung. Pil Seung, the MD then came down to the supermarket to start a campaign in a bid to boost sales. Finally the supermarket is able to remain open. (Oh, I missed to mention that Pil Seung's company manages the supermarket that Soon Young is working in)
Slowly, to the lower level workers, Pil Seung is known to be a kind-hearted boss. His kind-heartedness also touched Yoo Jung, who unknowingly has fallen for him. However, resentment to him is still on the high. Finally Pil Seung's parentage was questioned and he left the company. But his grandmother asked him to return, but he still gave up the position in the end.

My Take
I love this show. I like the charismatic Ahn Jae Wook and his successful potrayal of a fishmonger to a humble managing director. However, not sure what's on the scriptwriter's mind, because it wasn't clear whether Pil-Seung and Soon Young got together in the end. I know Soon Young and Jae Wong broke up though.

Synopsis
Love Triangle among 3 students in Harvard. The female lead, Soo-in, is a student at Harvard Medical School. The 2 male leads are Hyun Woo and Jung Min, students from the Harvard Law School. Both HW and JM fell in love with SI, and Jin-Ah, whose company sponsors JM's studies, loved JM. SI fell in love with HW but due to certain reasons, they parted ways in Harvard. Fast forward to after graduation, where HW and JM returned to Seoul. HW became a successful lawyer with a reputation of helping the poor with their legal cases. Then, we see how the 3 continue their relationship when SI returned to Korea too.
Character Analysis
Lee Soo In by Kim Tae Hee : Financially poor, but through her determination in her ambition to become a doctor, she took on multiple part-time jobs to support herself through the Medical school. Despite her hardships in life, she is a cheerful and optimistic girl.
Kim Hyun Woo by Kim Rae Won : He graduated from Seoul University with a law degree, and hails from a family of lawyers and judges.
Hong Jung Min (Alex Hong) by Lee Jung Jin: He moved to US when his father committed suicide after losing a legal suit where Hyun Woo's father is the prosecutor. He is an ambitious guy.
Yoo Jin-Ah by Kim Min : Her father owns a law firm in US. Knowing that JM is ambitious, she used the ownership of her dad's firm as a bait in exchange for JM affections.

I'm watching this on YouTube currently. Chanced upon this show when I acciendentally surfed to Ch55 of CableTV. Think CableTV is already showing Ep 9 and 10 when I first watched it, hence I went to YouTube to search for Ep 1-8 and found it !!

Synopsis
Yoon Jung-Sook and Kwon Hyuk-Joon were bethrothed by their grandfathers while they were babies. Fast forward 18 years, JS was a 18 year old student and HJ is a Prosecutor. They got married in accordance to the betrothal and also because HJ's grandfather's ailing health. Unknowing to HJ, he is JS's first love when she saw him in traditional costume (rather bizarre). HJ treated JS as a small girl but slowly fell in love with her.

My take:
I was recommended this drama by my colleague, who said that she cried for most of the movie. Well it's a really touching show. This is also one of the dramas which I felt that the actors and actress's acting are superb.

Synopsis
4-year-old Yu Min has been abandoned by her mother's friend when her mother died. Her dad was the son of a construction millionaire and the marriage was not approved by the family. Hence her mom was given a large sum of money to leave her dad, but this was taken by her mom's friends. At the same time, her dad lost his memory in a car accident. Yu Min was adopted by a good samaritan but was again abandoned. Yu Min then lived from hand-to-mouth together with her brother (son of the good samaritan). Fast forward 15 years, Yu Min is in love with Lin Min Zhe, her brother's doctor, who is also coincidentally the eldest son of her mother's friend. MZ was waiting for his first love to come back and ends up making an agreement with YM to pose as his fiancée to stop his mother's matchmaking. YM also met Lin Sheng Zhe, MZ's brother as he is unable to pay her for causing her to lose some fish that she was planning to sell. With a twist of fate, both MZ and SZ fell in love with YM, but YM found that the one she loves is SZ. The story then developed to tell how the abandonment is exposed and how Yu Min gets reunited with her father.

My Take:
I bought the DVDs for this, instead of utube. The subtitles are in Chinese, hence the chinese names :) Drama is quite ok. Something refreshing from the recent bout of contractual relationships in Kdrama. :)

My take:
Contrary to many opinions that this is an excellent drama, I feel that the drama is unrealistic and hence average. In addition, I felt Rain is overrated. I like Kim Sung Soo better. Maybe because I'm old...haha....But I love the house....would like to own such a house....:)
